Our Team
Lisa Layden (she/her)
Owner/Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner
Born in Daysland and raised in Camrose and BC, Lisa started working for her uncle’s hearing practice in 2006. She completed the Hearing Aid Practitioner Program with honours and, in 2012, ventured out on her own, opening Benchmark Hearing in Daysland. Lisa is passionate about helping those with hearing loss. “Building trust with clients is the key to giving people better hearing,” she says. “My job is all about relationships!”
Lisa’s life essential? Her kids, Willa (3), Lucas (0) and husband — whose age shall remain secret. 😉

- Certified with the National Board Certification for Hearing Instrument Sciences
Amy Hansen (she/her)
Administration
Amy has been working at Benchmark for four years and loves the diversity in her work — from specialists and customers to assembling hearing aids and creating marketing campaigns. With a variety of different work in her hands, Amy knows: “Paying attention to the details and keeping proper records saves time and complications later.”
What’s Amy’s key to happiness? Her family — she couldn’t live without them!
